a little about me

Howdy and welcome to my site! I’m Shelly Renee King and I’m a songwriter located just outside of Austin, TX in the small town of Buda. I’ve been writing song lyrics and poetry for pretty much my entire life, but more recently I’ve been learning the guitar and creating true songs. I have been fortunate to know and work with talented musicians in the live music capital of the world!

I’m excited to share my work with you and will continue to update this site with new lyric sheets, recordings, pictures, and events.
